Sweet Potato Pie Smoothie
If you are a fan of sweet potato pie (and who isn’t?), this just might be the best use of leftover sweet potato ever invented: the Sweet Potato Pie Smoothie. Did you know that you can turn a plain baked or boiled sweet potato into a creamy smoothie that tastes remarkably like sweet potato pie? And, you can even drink it for breakfast if that’s your jam.
Simply put half of a cooked sweet potato into the blender with your Vanilla Shakeology, add some traditional pie spices and a hint of orange zest (or a tablespoon of orange juice in a pinch), and – voila – your smoothie is now a festive holiday treat. Vanilla Shakeology makes it taste like pie topped with a scoop of whipped cream, but you can also make this yummy shake with Chocolate Shakeology.
